Product Manager, Ecosystem Onboarding

As the Product Manager for Ecosystem Onboarding, you will be responsible for Square's primary onboarding flows for new sellers. You will develop the strategy, set the roadmap, and determine the requirements - in collaboration with design, engineering, our product teams, and Lifecycle team leadership - to build products that help sellers quickly get started with the right products for them, while helping Square to increase product adoption and attach rate.

You Will:

• Identify high priority seller and business needs through user research, data analysis, and market research.
• Develop product strategies and roadmaps to address seller needs and drive business growth.
• Validate whether product strategies will have the intended impact with a combination of qualitative user research and quantitative experimentation.
• Break down strategies into discrete work streams and work with a cross-functional team to build, test, and launch new features.
• Document project requirements, clarify implementation details, and make strategic tradeoff decisions as needed.
• Communicate and drive alignment on strategies and roadmaps within your team and with stakeholder teams at Square.

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience or equivalent.
• A strong sense of user empathy and interest in supporting independent businesses.
• Experience turning product strategies into clearly scoped roadmaps and requirements.
• Experience testing and launching products at scale with a high bar for experimental rigor.
• Ability to understand technical systems and how they operate, not necessarily in an engineering capacity, but enough to spot potential issues and make trade off decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and distill complex issues into easy to understand narratives.
• Experience coordinating with diverse stakeholders including peers and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large and complex systems at scale.
• Experience managing onboarding for complex B2B products.
• Experience in B2B go-to-market
