The Freemium R&D team oversees the entire user journey on Spotify and ensures we engage with people in innovative ways, every step of the way. We have ambitious plans in Freemium to build the next generation unified digital experiences for our listeners and creators to be able to meet their needs throughout their post purchase journey without reaching customer support.

We are looking for a user-centric & data informed Product Manager who is passionate about building frictionless experiences (account/profile management, in-product help, conversational experiences) and AI/ML driven conversational technology. In this team, you will play a key part in shaping product experiences that impact customer engagement, customer’s task completion, retention and overall company’s strategy around unified experiences.

What you'll do

  • Own one or more post purchase digital experiences and execute with quality & speed based on users and business needs. 
  • Work closely with and influence cross functional stakeholders and peers to define a roadmap that balances supporting current needs, managing technical debt, and unlocking new opportunities.
  • Contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for your products and mission, and for solving your user’s needs.
  • Be data informed and help instill user-centric development practices across our development teams.
  • Partner with development teams to deliver critical platform capabilities, end user experiences with speed and quality.

Who you are

  • You're an experienced Product Manager with data informed product development, strong product craft, and a technical background, with previous experience building customer experiences.
  • You have a genuine interest in building user centric products and solving complex problems.
  • You are highly collaborative, proactive, driven and thrive working in cross-functional teams.
  • You love breaking down sophisticated problems into manageable goals and finding simple solutions to meet diverse needs.
  • Experience in crafting clear product requirements based on research, data and insights.
  • Experience leading and working with agile development teams.
  • You can influence and partner effectively across all levels of an organization, and regularly use these skills to improve the work going on around you.
