Product Manager, Decision Science

The Decision Science team delivers models, insights, and tooling to help Square teams make faster, more informed decisions as they run their businesses. As a Product Manager on our Decision Science team, you will develop the strategy, set the roadmap, and determine the requirements - in collaboration with data science, machine learning, and our team members - to create internal products that support our mission to help Square teams make better decisions, faster. You will work directly with our superb Decision Science data scientists and machine learning engineers, report to the Product Lead for Automation, and work with product managers in our Seller Experience Automation

You Will:

• Identify opportunities to improve the speed and quality of decision making across Square
• Define and document goals and product requirements for product initiatives
• Develop a deep understanding of and empathy for internal teams at Square with regard to the types of decisions they make and their decision making processes
• Partner with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers on technical initiatives, while working across teams to bring new value to our internal teams
• Create and guide a product roadmap, promote it across Square and, in collaboration with design, engineering, and analytics partners, prioritize and lead the end-to-end success of projects from discovery through landing
• Represent the Decision Science team with partners, senior company leaders, and important partners across the company to align resources and prioritize strategic programs

• You have a passion for building internal products
• You are well-versed in the fundamentals of machine learning
• You can provide direction and rally a team on the highest priority problem to solve
• You can advocate for collaborative solutions with a diverse group of partners
• You can write and present with brevity and clarity
• You have at least 3 years of experience in product management
