The Role- 

In this role you’ll be a key part of our product management team and a partner to the entire Modern Health tech team as the product leader of Data Science products, a team dedicated to creating a platform to personalize member experiences including care recommendations, provider matching, etc.  In an environment where we are increasingly connected to technology, at higher risk for depression, and lonelier than ever, our mission is to create a world where people are happier and more resilient to the stress and struggles of everyday life. You will be responsible for driving the execution of our near term goals but more importantly, helping to set the strategic vision to drive value for employers and their employees. This role reports to the Director of Product. We’re committed to the health and safety of the community, so our team is currently working remotely and will continue to do so for the near term. Permanently remote opportunities are specifically indicated. 

What You’ll Do-

• Vision and strategy: Create a roadmap and vision that maximizes customer & user engagement, and satisfaction within our Modern Health data science products, which includes in-app provider matching, personalized content (meditations, courses, circles, etc.) recommendations, and other member personalization features. 
• Tech collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with other product managers, designers and engineering teams to build a data science platform that powers member personalization across our product features.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner across functions like customer success, marketing, security, legal, operations, and sales to address the needs of our customers and differentiate us in the market.
• Execute successfully: Partner with engineering, design, research, and content to build a strong operating model to execute on complex products and projects.
  
• Analyze data & understand user behavior: Inform and drive key decisions with data-informed insights and UX research. 

Who You Are-

• 3-5 years experience in Product Management Experience working on platform products incorporating the use of machine learning / data science methodologies.
• Strong experience working on at-scale personalization and recommendation systems.
• Knowledge on ML infrastructure for data storage, data wrangling, feature storage, feature execution, and model deployment/ integration.
• Analytical thinker who can conduct hypothesis-based testing with rapid iterations. 
• Can plan and organize work in close collaboration with a team of engineers, product designers, data scientists. 
• Extensive experience working with commercial teams such as Customer Success to roll out complex features in a B2B setting.
• Experience working on digital products related to well-being, health, or other related fields. 
• Passionate about building products that make a positive impact. 
• Enjoys hands-on execution and strategic thought leadership.
  
• Adept at building, measuring and reporting against fundamental business metrics like retention.
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all levels of organization and customers, including the ability to distill complex concepts for a non-technical audience.
