THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Product Manager for Data Privacy to join our Product and Technology team in Portugal!

Our team provides Data Privacy & Protection at Gympass. We support data subject requests to Gympass product portfolio and tools for teams across the company to ensure the services they build comply with security requirements & data privacy regulations. This includes both indirectly supporting external features and directly supporting internal customer needs. As so, as a Product Manager for Data Privacy, your customers will be all Gympass' external audience like users, clients and partners but also the internal product development teams with PM’s and engineers as well, whether they are building or supporting clients, backend services, libraries, data pipelines, machine learning models, and so on.

YOUR IMPACT

• Develop a vision for a data privacy platform;
• Comply with data subject rights requirements;
• Build and manage a Data Privacy Roadmap;
• Work alongside our Legal team to provide a clear data privacy communication;
• Actively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to continuously review and improve the current product functionality and performance;
• Create goals, metrics and track its progress;
• Build and communicate product vision;
• Explore new ways of improving existing services, products and process;
• Manage our backlog and lead meetings with designers and developers;
• Participate in internal system integrations projects (ERP’s);
• Conduct feasibility studies with the squad members.

WHO YOU ARE

• Relevant experience in web product development;
• Experience in data privacy, user privacy, or data management in a product role;
• Knowledge of the current privacy landscape and the regulatory requirements affecting user data, including GDPR and CCPA;
• Experience working in agile development environments;
• Desirable experience with support and content channel management;
• Analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to generate reports and insights;
• Be able to make pragmatic decisions;
• Ability to analyze complex process and make them simple, friendly and intuitive;
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a great desire to make things happen;
• Capacity to develop original ideas and solutions.
