Product Manager (Data)

MessageBird, is seeking a Product Manager to be the driving force behind revolutionizing an innovative suite of data products for the world’s largest and most reliable email sender. Delivering nearly 40% of all commercial emails, we are committed to differentiating ourselves from the competition - this is where you come in.

The Product Manager will own and grow proprietary data products that will provide unique and valuable insights to our customers -positioning our value promise above the rest. With the goal of scaling, the Product Manager will be the driving force behind our growth.

The Product Manager will have an opportunity to be coach and mentored by our founders - some of the most successful entrepreneurs in our industry. Working on data products that are at the forefront of our organization, this opportunity is highly visible and will pave the way for broader growth across MessageBird. 

Key Performance Objectives:

• Within your first 30 days, work to understand our data sets, why they are important, and how they are used; working closely with principal stakeholders and teams to distill large sets of data across several different sources
• By 90 days, you will have a good understanding of our current state. Using new data sets, you begin making proposals on where we should be refocusing and identifying where we could really thrive
• During months 6-12, you’ve gotten buy-in on initiatives and are making significant forward progress; setting milestones and achieving them
• Take control of a strategic project with our partner Boxbe with the goal of increasing panelists; determining resources and streamlining processes for a more successful relationship

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of Technical Product Manager experience creating products for B2B SaaS companies
• Analytically and technically adept at distilling large data sets to create actionable insights
• Basic proficiency with Excel and SQL
