Product Manager - Data Integrations

About the Role

MetaMap is looking for a Product Manager to own the expansion and adoption of the Credit Bureau Product of MetaMap.

This role will lead the critical process of integrating with credit bureaus, tax entities and other service providers across the world and markets (LATAM, Africa, SEA, India, amongst others)

Will own the end-to-end product development lifecycle of all the data integration products and will work on identifying new sources, understanding contractual constraints, designing the best solution for MetaMap's B2B Clients, and also partner with Sales to increase adoption.

The member will be empowered to make their own decisions that will take the company forward.

Responsibilities

• Owning a suite of integration products including Credit Check on MetaMap's Dashboard (Inputs, Processing, and Decision Settings & Output).

• Manage the Front-end, Analytics, and Conversions/drop-offs.

• Standalone APIs, Webhooks (Backend) for integration of App with B2B Partners.

• Technical and functional evaluation of Bureau APIs in order to write PRDs.

• Enrich Datasets & Expand coverage.

• Drive Adoption through Sales, Customer Success Training, run periodic Announcement & Merchant Communications through the Product Marketing team.

• Build a Roadmap for the technology team and takes part in sprint plannings, reviews.

• Balance both long-term goals and short-term wins.

• Strong bias for action, thinking out of the box, and not limited to conventional ideas.

• Metric and Data-Driven. Can keep a Data Analyst engaged and empower stakeholders.

• Understand consumer pain points/needs and business imperatives to define the product roadmap.

• End-to-end ownership of product development life cycle: conceptualization, business case preparation, credit bureau service provider evaluation, deployment, UAT, and roll-out.

• Write detailed product use cases, define customer journeys through mock-ups, workflows, and charts.

• Work with cross-functional teams such as Country Insights, Design and UX, Engineering, Sales, and Operations.

• Own what you are building - Running edge cases, testing products proactively, and measuring success metrics regularly.

• Convert business problems into well-defined project scope and articulate a solution path.

• Curious and aware of industry trends, competition, and product innovation globally. Discovering new use cases of credit data across industries- Banks, Fin-techs, Crypto, Gaming, etc.

Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in:

• Product development & implementation – in Credit Bureaus (For e.g. TransUnion, Experian, Equifax ) and related products like Alternative Data.

• Must have the experience of coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders in implementing the product in a production environment

• Analytical & consulting mindset along with the hands-on experience of testing APIs using tools like POSTMAN, API Protocols (REST, SOAP, etc)

• Must have a strong business acumen while collaborating with internal stakeholders like Business Development and Sales, and external stakeholders like Data Providers and Credit Bureaus.
