Kpler is excited to welcome a Product Manager to our Ship Tracking Tribe, focusing on two key areas: Data Assets and Ingress. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for curating ship-related information (Data Assets) and managing the ingestion and processing of AIS data (Ingress).

In this role, you’ll actively participate in Agile ceremonies using Scrum methodology with Jira, while maintaining product roadmaps for both teams. Join us to help shape and optimize our ship tracking products and services!

Responsibilities

Craft and develop a 3-6 month product vision for innovative features
Lead crews to deliver on the product vision
Drive innovation across multiple projects and crews
Ensure customer research is conducted and applied
Understand technical systems within and outside the team
Ship medium/large-sized projects with quantifiable positive impact
Take important decisions and communicate the reasoning
Utilize market trends and competitive analysis to inform product decisions

Experience

2-5 year experience in Product Management
Proven Product Management experience with Scrum Methodology, including key Agile Ceremonies, daily scrum, sprint planning and review, and backlog refinement
Analytical oriented thinker
Background and experience with data management and processing
Background and experience with geospatial data, concepts, and mapping platforms
Technical experience with querying and analyzing data, including SQLExperience with building, maintaining, and communicating product roadmaps
