About the role

We want to be a customer’s first payment choice, everywhere and every day.

We are looking for a rock star product manager to drive strategy and deliver next-generation user experiences around app re-engagement and post purchase

What you'll do:

  • Understand our users, what’s important to them, what drives their decision making, why they love Zip,  and what they wish we would be better.
  • Understand what matters to our existing customers: where are their pain points and how do we eliminate them while also innovating in new ways to help.
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows.
  • Collaborate across functions including engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, and product to successfully launch and scale Zip’s products.
  • Define key metrics for success and analyze the user impact of product features with airtight A/B tests and 2nd order insights.

What you will bring to the table:

  • 3+ years in a product management or product-facing role with some notable wins
  • You care about the team, about people, about the HOW. You lead out of humility and nurture a blameless and collaborative culture.
  • You don’t aim for good, you believe in building world-class products. 
  • Obsess over user experiences, from sad and happy paths to pixels on the screen
  • Strong communication skills Passion for financial technology and empowering merchants, partners, and customers
  • Strong customer empathy
  • Take-charge mentality, growth mindset, detail-oriented; self-management
  • Experience delivering results in a data-driven environment

Nice to have:

  • A sense of humor is hugely preferred
  • Background in eCommerce B2B (or B2C) experience
  • An interesting life story / a cool hobby / a diverse background has proven to bring more to the table in terms of perspective
