The Core Experience team works at the heart of the Spotify user experience. We’re a community of product managers, designers, engineers, researchers, and data scientists, building a world-class user experience on the Spotify mobile apps. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead a consumer-facing agile product team. You’ll craft vision and strategy, identify tactics and help craft solutions, prioritize and measure and validate the success of your work. Your work will be used by and impact the lives of millions of people around the world. You’ll partner with a cross-disciplinary set of folks across the globe, working in a fast-paced environment, and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, researchers and data scientists to identify problems, opportunities and solutions that will support the needs of our users and impact our goals/metrics
- Own and prioritize a long term product roadmap for your area based on a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and maintenance and support
- Triangulate data and insights to develop a robust product strategy and inform decision making
- Use a/b testing and other methodologies to validate the success of your chosen approach
- Work with a variety of cross-functional partners to receive input, get feedback, and keep them informed
Who you are:
- You have experience working with agile development teams building high-quality consumer products
- You have a proven track record of taking new products to market
- You are able to distill complex information into easy-to-understand concepts, and understand how to lead a team through ambiguity
- You have experience working with data and insights to understand and measure your work
Where you'll be:
- We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
- Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours
- Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for teamwork and ask that all be located in that time zone
