The PaaS (Platform As A Service) product team is built of PMs that pair with developers in order to think, build, deploy in production and maintain all the products from Scaleway's PaaS ecosystem. The products we build aim to facilitate our clients' lives by providing them a cloud service that is resilient and that automatically scales.
As a consequence, our clients do not need to care about their infrastructure and can focus on their added value: building apps!
As of today, the PaaS ecosystem embeds different types of products, including: Storage, Database, Serverless, Managed Kubernetes, IoT and AI. Not to mention all the products that are not live yet and deserve a Product Manager.
Reporting to the VP of PaaS product, you will be responsible for defining, specifying and delivering the two products in Scaleway Cloud ecosystem: Container Registry and Domains.
This job is open for junior Product Managers, eager to discover the Cloud, to learn with us and to bring their passion and enthusiasm.
Daily with your development team, the Engineering Manager and fellow PMs, the Product Manager is missioned to bring value to the Scaleway's clients with the products he is in charge of.
Because of its strategic position inside the team, the product manager will be the "go to" person. Not only in the team, at Scaleway but also externally for any product related concern. She will thus have to chat daily with developers, marketing teams, sales teams and the clients!
Minimum qualifications
- Ability to work as a team in a challenging environment
- Ability to drive clients interviews
- Experience either as a Product Manager or with Cloud Services ecosystem
- Very good command of English
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of Product Manager workflow
- Ability to deliver documented and added value features
- Experience of highly technical product deliveries
- Demonstrated ability to understand clients needs
- Ability to prioritize, managing dependencies and keeping track of deliverables due dates
Responsibilities
- Execute Product vision (thought the roadmap) according to the defined ecosystem strategy
- Identify Cloud user pain points and make sure to deliver incremental features
- Ensure the features have the right priority and are explicitly spread into user stories
- Support Clients, Sales, Marketing, daily, with passion
- Measure, challenge and iterate your Key Product Indicator
- Keep an always up to date overview and detailed version of the competition
- Partner with your fellow Engineering Manager and Product Marketing Manager to ensure predictable and consistent feature launches
- Contribute to the product content by delivering added value white paper, blog posts and conferences
Based in our offices in Paris or Lille, partial/full remote is possible (France/Europe)
