About Autolist:

For most people, shopping for a vehicle is an experience we’d rather forget. Navigating a sea of endless options, spending hours at the dealership and negotiating toe-to-toe with a dealer who does all this every day leaves automotive shoppers feeling exhausted and overwhelmed while hopeful, but not sure, they got a vehicle in good condition for a fair price.

Autolist is on a mission to rewire the automotive industry by making it easier for everyone to find and get a vehicle they love. We are creating an on-demand automotive shopping experience for every stage of the automotive life cycle - buying, selling, owning - and we’re well on our way.  As an independent brand and subsidiary of CarGurus (NASDAQ: CARG) we’re a startup within the worldwide category leader in automotive shopping helping millions of monthly users via our award-winning apps and web shopping platforms. Our efforts to streamline the automotive shopping experience is supported by a strong passion to empower people with the knowledge and experience they need for everything automotive, a commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging, and world-class benefits.

About the Team:

The product and design team is a passionate, highly collaborative, entrepreneurial group dedicated to driving product innovation forward within Autolist and CarGurus. We work closely with engineering, marketing, and business/ops to seek and build solutions to meaningful and difficult problems within the automotive shopping experience. We believe in autonomy, self-motivation, pride of ownership, and team collaboration to help make Autolist and CarGurus the largest automotive marketplace in the world.

About the Automotive Industry:

Autolist is looking for a highly motivated Consumer Product Manager to join the team. The product team is highly cross-functional, and requires strong analytical skills, creative problem solving, and a passion for innovation. • Use a variety of testing techniques to generate insights and make data-driven choices
  • Be a strong advocate for users by achieving deep understanding and empathy through ongoing customer development, user research, and competitive analysis and translate those insights into impactful product hypotheses

We’d like you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of product management or product adjacent experience, including experience working with product developers
  • Bias for execution; you focus on defining the right MVP, making difficult trade-offs and shipping effective features
  • Detail-oriented mindset; you believe that a great product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions

  • Experience with SQL, Google Analytics, Snowflake, Looker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience
  • Tenacious self-starter with the ability to work independently
