Working at Atlassian
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or from an office (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
The Confluence Cloud team at Atlassian is changing the way companies collaborate and share information. Confluence has 75k+ customers and more than half of Fortune 100 companies use Confluence to connect people with the content they need. Join us as we unleash the power of teams all over the globe.
We're hiring a Product Manager to work with our Page Creation teams, focused on the editing experience and extensions within Confluence. You'll build features to encourage more users to create content and have delightful user experiences.
Atlassian is on the cutting edge of modern product craft, and is still led by the two original founders who pursue the vision to unleash the potential in every team. You'll join a product-led company where product managers set strategy and lead teams towards big goals.
You will:
- Collaborate with your triad of engineering and design to build a roadmap, set goals, and execute your plan.
- Manage the delivery of new features from end to end, starting from defining and validating a problem all the way through to shipping and measuring success.
- Work with engineers and designers across multiple teams to define product specs and refine experiences as they are delivered.
- Align with the product marketing team to ensure new features are shared with and adopted by customers.
- Spend as much time as possible talking to customers and analyzing customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with platform teams to build a world-class editing experience across all our products.
- Report to the Group Product Manager for Creation, and work with a Senior Product Manager counter mentor.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 2+ years of experience in a product management role (in a product-led SaaS company)
- Background working across engineering, design, and marketing
- Spent time with customers to understand new ways to solve pain points in the collaboration space
- Experience with running experiments and able to context switch from talking about the big picture all the way down to implementation details
- When presented with meaningful goals and a mountain of data, you can identify and organize clear actions
- Excitement about working on one of the largest and fastest growing products within Atlassian
- A love for implementing experiments, using a combination of qualitative and quantitative data to measure success
- Willingness to be wrong about a hypothesis
- An obsession with customer needs, product functionality, constraints and tradeoffs
- Experience aligning technical and non-technical colleagues and leadership
- Technical writing skills
- Opinions but enjoy being challenged to think about a problem from a different angle
