As Stripe continues to develop innovative products that serve businesses of all sizes around the world, risk will increase in complexity and scale. As part of the Compliance and Financial Crimes product team, you will play a critical role in enabling Stripe’s growth while partnering with business and product stakeholders to understand and mitigate key risks. You will be focused on stopping bad actors and maintaining trust in the financial ecosystem, while minimizing friction for good users. 

You will:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe’s financial crime compliance, including anti-money laundering, customer risk rating, and sanctions screening for both B2B and consumer-oriented financial services
  • Collaborate closely with legal, engineering, design, data science, and operations
  • Partner with Stripe’s business teams on product and geographic expansion initiatives, enabling Stripe’s growth while mitigating risk
  • Serve as a thought leader for supporting and driving innovative, technology-focused compliance solutions with regulators and financial partners
  • Optimize compliance capabilities and automation while reducing manual reviews & good user impact

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years in Product Management, with experience in financial compliance services (BSA/AML, Sanctions Screening, KYC/KYB)
  • The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to ship. 
  • Strong stakeholder management including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizations and borders
  • Strong executive communications skills - you can summarize and express complex requirements in an accessible and precise manner
