Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a technology and science community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem.

We're looking for a Product Manager to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Product Manager for our Clinical Workflows initiative, which has a mission to enable cancer center physicians and care teams to deliver high quality, cutting edge care to their patients. Over the next year this team is working on incredibly high impact projects to enable care teams to spend more time with patients and less time wrestling with their EHR. This role will help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career. The successful candidate will own a vision and roadmap for the future of critical clinical workflows within the OncoEMR product, Flatiron’s oncology specific EHR. In addition, you'll also:

  • Own aligning our business strategy and metrics with our product development efforts and leading an engineering team from design through successful rollout
  • Manage and drive software projects with high technical risk and high coordination complexity
  • Create detailed road maps, prioritize relentlessly, and communicate trade-offs internally
  • Identify and fix process gaps around execution, roll-out, and ongoing support of software projects
  • Communicate and evangelize the value of your investments (product and technical) to the business stakeholders

Who You Are

You're a Product Manager with at least 3 years of experience in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.

  • You have BA/BS degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have the ability to effectively identify what’s important and prioritize competing work streams based on customer and business context.
  • You are able to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization. You are able to intake diverse inputs and opinions and align stakeholders - both internal and external - on a path forward.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills. You are a skilled translator between functional and technical stakeholders.
  • You are motivated by healthcare challenges and are inspired by the opportunities they bring. You are excited to dig into details of complex clinical workflows with your team and are energized by a high level of complexity.
  • You are highly adaptable to new challenges and able to flex seamlessly between high-level strategy and execution work required while motivating your team and stakeholders through change.
  • You have a strong understanding of software projects’ development, roll-out, and support risks as well as complex systems.
  • While not required, experience working within healthcare, EHR tech, and/or oncology tech is a plus

If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in at Flatiron.
