About the role 

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our Experience Platform team. You will be developing and executing on the end to end platform strategy for customer experiences across Chime Ecosystem. This Platform PM team is responsible for building out core financial and technology platforms for the long term scale at Chime. We work very closely with our technology and product counterparts to build capabilities that enable all of Chime to develop new products and solutions with speed and efficiency. Some of the areas we focus on are Personalization, Experimentation, Machine Learning, Financial Platform (Money movement) etc. You will be a key member of Experience Platform Team working very closely Marketing, Core Product, ML Platform, data scientists and data engineers on a wide range of use cases across Chime Ecosystem. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $133,300.00 and up to $185,100.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our users needs, our operational landscape and our competitors.
  • Own and drive delivery of cross-functional platform capabilities that impact all of Chime’s member and product touch points.
  • Define product vision, roadmap and delivery of Chime’s personalization platform with deep targeting and experimentation.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics to build Self Serve capabilities to accelerate time to market new products.
  • Ship minimum-loveable-products that deliver a quality customer experience.
  • Ensure timely execution of all projects to meet launch dates, and help support testing, and post-launch analysis.
  • Communicate strategic milestones and due dates to all stakeholders, ensuring information is available and complete, including to executive stakeholders.
  • Evangelize the use of experimentation, data and machine learning to all parts of the organization

To thrive in this role, you have      

  • Strong Empathy for users and an aim to discover and resolve their pain points.
  • Deep curiosity - you enjoy going deep into the data, asking more “whys” in the qual, and you strive for a better understanding of what it means to meet users where they are.
  • An owner’s mentality - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
  • Willingness and judgment to make hard product prioritization decisions and ability to rapidly learn from mistakes.
  • Experience translating complex, confusing, frustrating concepts and systems into simple, elegant, understandable experiences.
  • Strong collaboration in team environments but able to act quickly as the decision-maker.
  • Understanding of how data and machine learning solutions can be applied to business/product use cases and the feasibility of such solutions to meet business goals.
  • 2-3 years of experience delivering technology solutions on platform infrastructure and/or owning technology products 
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager. FinTech experience is a plus.
