Check is a payroll-as-a-service API that lets you embed payroll directly in your vertical SaaS, HR, or time-tracking platform. Our API abstracts away the complexities of running payroll: tax calculation, remittance, and filing, plus the movement of money between companies and employees. This enables companies to easily build fully integrated payroll products to offer to their customers.
- Design the suite of services that make running payroll easy, intuitive, and efficient.
- Chart the course for how our partners will scale their business operations, from enrolling through supporting their customers.
- Interview and engage directly with internal and external customers. Effectively communicate customer requirements and opportunities at all levels of the organization.
- Deeply understand customer requirements, including compliance and regulation standards, to level up customer trust and satisfaction.
- Work alongside our engineering team to craft and deliver your roadmap.
Many backgrounds could fit this role, but ideal candidates will have some or all of the following:
- 4+ years of experience in product management for technology companies serving enterprise businesses
- Experience talking to customers, understanding their problems, and synthesizing the findings to advise product strategy
- Solid understanding of what it means to own/operate cloud services, especially developer platforms.
- Passion for diving into technical details and becoming an expert in your domain
What we offer:

The expected annual salary for this role is between $180,000 and $200,000, dependent upon each candidate’s unique experience and qualifications.
