👋 Meet Catalog

Catalog revolutionize the way SMBs sell in B2B.

Think of a local manufacturer of hardware equipment making 10m€ a year selling to brick & mortar hardware stores. Their B2B sales process is made of printed catalogs, field visits, orders by email, manual entries, excels… It creates massive value leakage.

Just one illustration: their salesteam spends 1/3 of week manually copy pasting already won orders from PDF order form to their ERP.

We launched Catalog to re-enchant this process leveraging digital, data & AI and boost competitiveness of the 10 millions SMBs selling product in B2B worldwide.

We are addressing a space where a global leader is yet to come: B2B salespeople are underserved, they don’t have Notion, Slack or Github. We want to build the best B2B order management solution.

The product journey will be rich and we start with first brick: a fast set-up solution allowing sellers to bring online their wholesale business in their own space. A Shopify for pure B2B SMBs.

We are a team of 6 working closely with Hexa team, including

👀 About the role

As our 1st Product Manager, you will be the “alpha & omega” of our product works, from strategy to execution. Working closely with our founders, business associate and engineers, you will join an team of 6 working hands in hands with the exciting ambition to build a global leader.

Key Responsibilities

🔍 Product Discovery

• Support customer research and develop deep understanding of pains and needs
• Develop a data-driven approach to focus on opportunities creating the highest impact

📐 Product Strategy

• Shape product vision through user feedbacks, analysis, benchmark & internal discussions
• Convert our vision and strategy into a product roadmap
• Set clear OKRs in line with Catalog's objectives
• Collect & prioritize client feedbacks to convert them into actionable adjustments

🚀 Product Delivery

• Steer the smooth execution of sprints and manage the backlog
• Create clear wireframes and write clear specs limiting later back and forth with engineers
• Lead QA and ensure all features shipped are bug-free

🤩 Is that you?

• Experience - you have 4+ years of experience in Product Management. An experience working on e-commerce or SMB-focus solutions is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments where you have broad responsibilities from strategy to execution.
• Ownership mentality: you own projects and drive them from start to finish.
• Thought leader with good communication skills: you defend your opinions and embark people on your vision.
• Highly creative: you think outside the box and like to find creative solutions to problems.
• Customer-obsessed: you have empathy for users, like interacting with them. A keen interest for SMB is a clear plus.
• Data-driven: you use both qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize the roadmap. You are at ease with modern analytics tools. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Wireframe master - you successfully wireframe your ideas and iterate with design team. Experience in Figma is a clear plus (it is the tool we use).
• Team player: you perform well in a group and enjoy sharing knowledge with your peers.
