Product Manager, Care Delivery

About the role

Oscar Product is a growing, fast-paced team using technology and design to revolutionize healthcare. As a Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping Oscar solve problems and accelerating your team’s execution. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of high impact problems related to how Oscar members get care, focusing on the full patient experience from booking an appointment through receiving care and follow-up.

In this role, you’ll join our Oscar Care Tech team, which is focused on Oscar’s Virtual Care experience from both a provider and patient perspective. Our virtual care offerings  provide Oscar members access to providers for urgent and primary care virtually.  Your focus will be on  delivering exceptional experiences to patients before, during and after their televisits and managing their goals and follow-up care between visits.

You will report to a Senior Director of Product. This is a hybrid role. You will work part of the time in the New York City office and part of the time work-from-home/remote. #LI-Hybrid

The potential base pay for this role is $136,000-$178,500.

Responsibilities

• Create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for future product investments in our Oscar Care patient experience.
• Define the business and user goals of a product team focused on helping our members obtain care through virtual urgent and primary care.  
• Work with engineers, product managers, and other company partners to create product requirement documents and implement features.
• Ensure your projects are progressing smoothly, while weighing the trade-offs among speed, scalability, simplicity, and quality.
• Produce insights from data and user research to help you identify potential improvements.
• Coordinate and organize work across multiple perspectives and functions within Oscar.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with complex systems. You know how to analyze and decompose a complex system into its member parts, and how to communicate that complexity simply and cleanly.
• Great at prioritizing. There are a million ways to make the healthcare experience better - we can’t fix all of them at once! Where will you start and why?
• A researcher. You can think creatively about how to get the information you need to prove or disprove your hypothesis using user research or data (hard data skills like SQL plus).
• Collaborative. You love helping engineers, designers, operations experts, and other teams around you do their best work. You are always driving towards a decision.
• Experienced. You have worked directly with engineers in product management roles for 2+ years.

• Previous experience working with clinical workflows and/or virtual care
• Previous experience building consumer facing web and mobile applications
