What We Do

As a Product Manager, you are passionate about mental health and driving meaningful change This role will primarily focus on building new product capabilities for Calm Health laying the foundation for future expansion.

We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.

What You’ll Do

You will drive growth and scale for Calm Health by leading the development of new product capabilities that expand Calm’s mental health solutions to support enterprise customers of all shapes and sizes. You will work closely with our internal Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, User Acquisition, Marketing, and Content teams to drive and execute on a product roadmap to drive new customer growth, user activation, and continued user engagement. You’ll also partner closely with our customers and gather external customer feedback to influence our product roadmap, while driving scalability of the Calm Health solution. More broadly, you’ll develop and test hypotheses to deepen the engagement of the Calm Business and Health user base. You’ll be a product leader that collaborates across the company to meet key objectives strategically and effectively.

  • Serve as the Product Lead for a new Calm Health product area, owning vision, strategy and execution
  • Conduct end-user research and client research to deeply understand needs and pain points
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from customers, sponsors, and internal teams to inform the roadmap
  • Ensure solutions remain user-centric, clinically thoughtful, and aligned with Calm’s mental health lens. 
  • Partner with User Research and Design to deeply understand customer and end-user needs and create rapid prototypes to test effectiveness of proposed solutions
  • Prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product development with a team of experienced engineers to ship high-quality experiences 
  • Partner with Customer Success and Customer Experience teams to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback to influence the product roadmap
  • Manage a product roadmap and execute on product features; set priorities, goals and track deliverables to drive product strategy forward
  • Build external partnerships and influence: collecting external feedback to influence scaling our products and platforms to deliver a consistent, engaging, world class experience across our diverse user base
  • Create PRDs that succinctly explain a feature’s job to be done, the market opportunity, how success will be measured, and the requirements necessary to ship/iterate 
  • Leverage AI to enhance day-to-day workflows and in-app experiences without compromising trust or care quality.

Who You Are

    • Passion for creativity, innovation and building great products, including those with a B2B2C focus
    • Knowledge and experience working with technical systems that power B2B2C products (e.g. eligibility, SSO, SFTP)
    • Strong ability to analyze user data and extract business requirements from multiple stakeholders and transform them into usable and elegant product specifications
    • Deep knowledge of B2B2C product KPIs and customer personas
    • Technically conversant (e.g. comfortable with APIs) and able to collaborate easily with cross-functional partners
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in an ambiguous, evolving product environment 
    • Confident presenting to senior leaders and external partners 

Nice to Haves

  • Experience building B2B2C workplace products 
  • Experience building digital health or mental health products 
  • Experience working with health insurance systems and  regulated environments 

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years in a Product Management (or related) experience  
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end product development as the primary product owner
  • Proven ability to manage complex requirements from discovery through execution 
  • Experience working with external customers and requirements gathering

The anticipated salary range for this position is $148,000 - $207,200. The base salary range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. This role is also eligible for equity + comprehensive benefits + 401k + flexible time off.
