Product Manager

CALA makes it easy to design, produce, and deliver your own fully-custom fashion products — and we’re hiring our firstproduct manager to join the team. We have some incredible customers but we’re still a small team; you'll have a huge amount of impact on the products we build, and be a key part of the next phase of our growth.

We place an extremely high degree of focus on product quality — in all our features, design, interactions, and code, we aim to build a product that’s genuinely enjoyable and effective to use. Not only will you uphold this standard, you’ll push it even further. We don’t cut corners or work unreasonable hours, but we deliver high-quality results at a high velocity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for your feature areas of ownership.

• Ensure that all design and engineering work is well-scoped, well-understood, and correctly prioritized.

• Review all ongoing work and hold your team accountable for high-quality delivery.

• Be the owner, representative, and decision maker of your product area to internal stakeholders, the engineering and design teams, external partners, and customers.

• Help us build the processes and tools we need to take things to the next level.

Requirements

• Experience in owning new product development from concept to launch.

• Experience working with a distributed, international team.

• Great interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. You’ll

• Software development experience.

We’re a distributed team, but we do have an office in NYC that you’re able to work from if you’re in the area.
