Your mission
As a Product Manager focused on the Booking experience at BlaBlaCar, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end booking journey for our customers. You will be responsible for creating a seamless and intuitive checkout process across all platforms, with a primary focus on driving conversion rates upwards. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data analytics and business, and customer support to deliver best-in-class booking experiences.
Your responsibilities
Define & communicate the Product & Engineering strategy & roadmap to all stakeholders
Define the associated backlog and roadmap, prioritizing the highest-impact projects
Lead the prioritization, specification, and delivery follow-up of the Booking team
Formalize and generate alignment on major decisions related to the Booking scope
Deploy, follow up, and communicate about its execution among different teams
Be the “go-to” product person on all Booking topics
Cross-functional Collaboration: work closely with engineering, design, and business teams to drive product development from concept to launch. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Data-Driven Decision Making: utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market insights to make informed product decisions. Conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance.
Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and monitoring processes to ensure the quality and reliability of products & services in your scope. Collaborate with engineering teams to address any issues or bugs promptly.
Stakeholder Communication: communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Solicit feedback and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
Your qualifications
4+ years of work experience as a Product Manager
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Ability to derive insights from data and use them to inform product decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence without authority.
Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
Strong plus:
Experience working in an international environment, collaborating with diverse teams across different geographies
Experience working for an Online Travel Agency (OTA) or e-commerce site or apps
