The Blocks team builds and maintains the Design System and the UI Framework upon which other teams build the user experience. Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of tools, technologies, and components that make it easy for product teams to build a delightful, polished, and consistent user experience. As part of the Core Platform pillar, our overall mission is to create a delightful developer experience that empowers teams to build their features quickly and safely. We provide paved roads so that product teams can more efficiently spend every minute of their time focused on serving our neighborhoods and driving the business.  The Blocks team collaborates directly with teams across the company to enable them to move faster and to help drive adoption of the shared components.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Product Manager on the Blocks team, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to build the roadmap for the Design System and UI Framework. You’ll work closely with other product managers and teams across the company to understand their needs and incorporate new requirements into the roadmap. You will build relationships and partnerships with product teams in order to drive adoption of the infrastructure and to help drive cross-cutting improvements across the entire product. You’ll work with your engineering team to ensure execution and delivery on a high quality framework that is leveraged throughout the company. You will be a champion for building high quality user experiences that we are proud to ship and you will help evangelize and incentivize building polished experiences for our neighbors and customers.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• 3+ years of work experience in product development
• Strong track record of shipping consumer products
• Empathy for the challenges teams face when building products
• Create  joy and satisfaction in facilitating strong cross-functional relationships through delivering effective tools and support
• Strong analytical thinker in order to interpret data, thoroughly analyze results, and drive to critical outcomes and success
• Excitement about partnering with Design as a strategic partner and building a collaborative relationship with design team members around exploring multiple solution spaces
• Experience developing new product surfaces and building the organizational alignment around the new opportunity
• Experience with multiple methods of testing and validation, both qualitative and quantitative
• Excellent written and communication skills especially to senior stakeholders
• Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way
