This opportunity is a part of Embedded, a division of Blink, that supports long-term contract opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners.

We seek a Product Manager for the Digital Products team in support of a Global Wealth Management Technology division.
The team of engineers, designers, and product managers collaborate to drive progress within digital finance.

The Role

  • The Digital Product Management team is tasked with setting a vision for and delivering products against the core digital experience for users across the entirety of the Wealth Management ecosystem.
  • The Digital Product Manager for this role should have deep experience across all digital channels and understand clearly how to clarify a vision at micro and macro levels, in a coherent manner that brings the entire cross functional team into a place of understanding and alignment— in short, a place from which iterative, consistent launches that build towards game changing products is the norm.

  • The work details:
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Location: 2 days/week on-site in Jersey City
  • Salary range: $150-180k DOE

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end business analysis of Digital Technology Projects, Front-office applications (Banker and Client Portals), Improving Client Experience, Digital Adoption and Technology enhancements.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT.
  • Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions.
  • Required to engage and work with various global and regional businesses, operations sponsors/stakeholders, and internal/external technology partners to deliver against objectives.
  • Responsible for participating in project activities from start to end, involving requirements definition, functional specification verification, user acceptance testing and business change management / integration.
  • Liaise with project sponsors and regional business leads on an ongoing basis to understand their needs and priorities as well as to pro-actively manage expectations, buy-in, feedback and resolution of issues. Works across peer and stakeholder organizations to implement improvements.
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications: 
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of working experience in supporting multiple software projects preferably in financial service industry
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a product manager
  • Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Familiarity with agile software development lifecycles, standard tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Financial market and products

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience in Wealth management is preferred
  • Agile Certifications a plus
  • Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
