About the job

This position is needed to make our customer’s billing experience clear, easy, and timely.

Our ideal product manager has rich experience in billing models (SaaS or telcom) and is passionate about providing the best and most transparent billing and invoicing experience for our customers.This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the modernization and simplification of Twilio’s billing and invoicing platform and enable business model flexibility. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Define the vision and roadmap for cloud customer invoicing, and work closely with the engineering team to execute on these areas.
  • Develop detailed use-cases and product requirements, working closely with the engineering team through the design, development, and product deployment process
  • Partner with our accounts, pricing, tax and finance teams on cloud cross functional invoice display requirements
  • Define and independently measure product KPIs, which will drive process improvements and future product features
  • Define the global customer invoice experience across all Twilio launched countries.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
  • Be concerned with the details. You are able to change context regularly between conceptual enterprise strategy and in-depth implementation details.

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product management at a software company
  • Experience with product delivery rituals
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions related to a product - products developed are services that other microservices use!
  • Self-starter who can lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with billing & invoicing systems and/or finance highly preferred
  • Intellectually curious and loves learning new things
  • Technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, build a robust integration with the Twilio API, make relevant contributions to high-stakes discussions on API design, data modeling and software architecture
  • Strong customer insight across different segments and personas
  • Strong product sense: ability to understand user needs in-depth and build delightful product experiences to solve them and make our users successful
  • Strong communication skills: ability to synthesize complex discussions, write succinctly and present to senior stakeholders both within and outside Twilio

Location 

This role will be based in our Dublin, Ireland office or remote, Dublin 

Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.
