About the job

This position is needed to help drive execution and long term strategy for our Billing Platform’s Account team while working closely with senior leadership, product teams, GTM and G&A to support Twilio’s existing business, new products and acquisitions. We are looking for someone who can help build extensible products and provide trusted order to cash experiences specifically around our account model. This role will lead all aspects of product development and day to day product operations for the Accounts engineering team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Communicate complex concepts, compliance requirements and voice customer needs through product requirements documentation, internal support docs and customer facing FAQs. 
  • Conduct research and customer interviews to drive product strategy and define success.
  • Develop a product vision and strategy through defining user experience, conducting research/customer interviews, planning & prioritizing sprints, defining the product roadmap and specing out new features and product enhancements. 
  • Interact extensively across all functional teams within Twilio.

Required:

  • To comply with Executive Order 14042, all Twilio employees working in the U.S. are required to submit proof of vaccination for COVID-19 unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation / exemption.  Employees onboarded after January 4, 2022 must submit proof of vaccination or receive approval for an exemption prior to their Twilio start date. 
  • 5+ years experience as a product manager in a fast paced environment 
  • Experience working in a remote work environment and able to balance working with teams in other times zones
  • Experience working with large datasets to help define success criteria and identify feature gaps
  • Experience working within order to cash (O2C)
  • Experience defining the product roadmap and specing out new features/product enhancements
  • Experience working through the hustle n bustle of day to day operations never losing sight of the long term vision 
  • Experience communicating and finding common ground across different types of stakeholders
  • Experience in recognizing areas of product integration, discussing product roadmaps, and engaging with product managers 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Desired:

  • Technically savvy and experience with APIs, communications, enterprise software a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the USA 

Approximately 0-5% of travel anticipated

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
