We are currently looking for an ambitious Product Manager - Billing (m/f/x) full-time for our Payment Team in our Berlin HQ.
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Develop and execute the product vision and strategy for our billing systems, aligning it with overall business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, industry best practices, and customer requirements related to billing.
- Engage with stakeholders to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that effectively address billing system functionalities, including subscription management, taxes, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that development efforts are aligned with business priorities and customer needs.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and guide the development process from concept to delivery.
- Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the billing systems and identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to billing systems, subscription management, and revenue recognition, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on billing systems for internal teams, providing guidance, training, and support when needed.
🤝 What you bring:
- 2-3 years as a Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on billing systems and subscription-based businesses
- Strong understanding of billing systems and subscription management concepts, including pricing models, recurring billing, invoicing, and payment gateways
- Knowledge of relevant technologies, APIs, and integrations commonly used in billing systems, such as subscription management platforms, CRM systems, and payment gateways
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and continuously improving product performance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex billing-related challenges
