We identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. We work cross-functionally with teams at Brex across engineering, legal, compliance, design, and many more to set strategy, define a roadmap, and drive products from inception to launch to ensure Brex continues to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What you’ll do

We are hiring an experienced Product Manager to build and scale the Bill Pay product, which is a key investment area for Brex. Bill Pay will enable businesses to pay their vendors in seconds and manage all the payment processes and vendor information with ease and accuracy. As a member of the Product Management team at Brex, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and strategy of your product area, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating product features, models and tools that enable our customers to easily utilize and enjoy Brex products. You’ll work closely with a team of talented engineers, designers, other Product Managers, as well as cross functional stakeholders including legal, ops, and compliance. Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of growing businesses’ pain points and needs for non T&E spend from Procurement to Bill Pay
• Own and lead the Bill Pay product and scale it
• Set clear goals and metrics for the team as well as the product and features and be held accountable to achieving them
• Work closely with a team of talented engineers, designers, other Product Managers, as well as cross functional stakeholders

Requirements

• Product experience: 5+ years of PM experience preferably building a billing, payments or fintech product
• Experience building customer facing products from 0 to 1
• Can work across the entire business stack and make an impact at different stages of the product: building vision & strategy, ensuring all the loose ends are tied up when executing, and making sure the operational components are in place, not just the product
• Obsess about continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and data
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for detailed articulations of problems we face as a business and how to solve them
• Flexible, understand that in fast growing companies, things change all the time and we need to jump on the most important things

Bonus points

• B2B, fintech (traditional banking not included), SaaS, marketplace product experience
• Accounts payable and/or accounts receivable software experience
• Experience scaling products to paying customers
