In less than 15 minutes, customers instrument data sources with thousands of data quality metrics and anomaly detection algorithms that proactively alert them to issues. With Bigeye, data teams prevent customer-facing data outages, save expensive engineering hours, and build greater faith in the data.

The Team

You’ll be joining a powerhouse team of product designers and software engineers, who are defining the data observability landscape. We closely partner with our sales, sales and solutions engineering, and customer success teams to take our product to market and make our clients successful and delighted.

The Work

Bigeye is looking for a strong technical Product Manager to facilitate the end-to-end lifecycle of both new features and continuous iterations for Bigeye's core data observability product. You will create market-defining products that users love by leveraging your deep understanding of the enterprise data space with your knack for gathering and integrating feedback from both our customers, as well as across the whole company. 

What you’ll be doing

• Facilitating a collaborative product development process - Define projects requirements by facilitating cross-functional input sessions, balancing scoping tradeoffs, and collaborate with engineering and product design to deliver a high quality product. 

• Ensuring successful product launches - Work with marketing and sales to put together product documentation, announcement messaging, and internal and external training sessions.

• Delivers on the functional requirements of product roadmap- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design leadership to deliver on the functional requirements of the strategic product roadmap. Facilitate the alignment of insights from customers and cross-functional stakeholders with input on feasibility from engineering and design.

• Aligning cross-functional stakeholders - Create buy-in for new product functionality across engineering, design, sales, marketing, and leadership.

• Deepening our market differentiation - Pair with product design to research and understand the core challenges of data engineering, governance, and analytics teams to create compelling product capabilities that leverage Bigeye's strengths.

• Analyzing product performance - Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering team to create true measures of our product's success. Incorporate these findings into future feature development.

What You Bring

• 2-4 years of software product management experience building SaaS enterprise data products

• Builds user empathy by collaborating with their product design partners through thoughtful and intentional user research. 

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in a diverse cross-functional environment - communicating goals, timelines, decisions, and tradeoffs to keep team and stakeholders aligned and projects moving forward.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, managing diverse and quickly evolving inputs and priorities. Ability to tailor messaging appropriately based on audience.

• Experience launching new products and features, enabling marketing, sales, and support to help make clients successful.

• Ability to quickly master technical concepts toevaluate difficult engineering trade offs and implementation decisions.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Working experience in data engineering, governance, or analytics

• Experience collaborating with a remote-first team
