👋 Greetings from Berty team! We are looking for a part-time Mobile Product Manager who can take the helm of Berty Messenger, to make it a reference communication tool in terms of privacy and resiliency to censorship. If this speaks to you, please read on 👇

💡 About the Product

Berty, we are a team of Web 3 enthusiasts who believe in real privacy for users. Not in the type that is in the hands of a single organization or government. This is why we are building Berty Messenger, a B2C Web 3 mobile app (iOS and Android) that uses cryptography, peer-to-peer with no servers and no cloud storage, meaning that your data is only stored on the device where Berty is installed and used, making it an entirely decentralized messenger. Berty is open-source and fully distributed - no one would be able to access the data or shut the app down, not even the developers. Our low-level drivers help us to achieve the privacy, resilience, and simplicity that everyone deserves.

Discover, learn and understand the Berty ecosystem of products and gradually take the driver seat to steer them towards mass adoption and user delight. 👂 Listen to users and partners and connect this learning to the engineers, CEO, and the entire Berty team. 🎯 Objectives & Key Results

****We strive to walk the talk when it comes to our values, so for transparency, here are the Objectives and Key Results we will evaluate the success of your role :

1. Communicate the product vision -

• User feedback is collected
• First Metrics to measure product success (NPC, churn, etc.) are in place or at least defined.
• Product Roadmap is created, and up to date.

1. Delivery Process Improvement - Contribute to the development of the Product Delivery Funnel - so that a consistent framework is in place for turning ideas into reality, and own the Backlog so that the technical teams have quality input to do good work.

• Items (ideas, epics, etc.) are clearly visible in the Delivery Funnel and
• Active epics, features, and stories are updated and prioritized (clear business value defined) in the Backlog
• Active and constructive participation in the Sprint events (we use Scrum)
• Facilitate the engineers in building the highest priority features and enhancements.
• Make sure that the User experience (UX) meets the needs of the targeted users
• The team considers you a valuable member and is glad you are here to help.

💪 Ideal Experience & Skills:

• ⚡️ Experience with the delivery of mobile apps, customer personas, collection of user feedback, NPC, churn reduction, communication skills (verbal, writing, public speaking), and deal-making
• Process: able to adapt to an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) delivery framework, knowledge in Lean Startup, OKRs, Backlog Management,
• 🧬 Cultural: Customer-centric mentality, critical thinking
• Language: French and English speaking.
