About the team

Stripe Issuing enables platforms to launch & deliver successful card programs and financial features into their product in a short period of time using powerful programmatic APIs. The team delivers the infrastructure, user facing features, APIs, banking & network integrations needed to create and manage cards, enable money movement, and drive spend.  This is a great opportunity to help build one of Stripe’s fastest growing businesses.  Our top users span fintechs to large enterprises & cover a range of verticals including Buy Now Pay Later, vertical SaaS platforms, on-demand marketplaces, expense management platforms, fleet, travel & more.

What you’ll do

As the Product Manager for User Onboarding & Integration Experience within our Banking as a Service team, you will own the user journey from product discovery through to successful integration with Stripe Issuing. This is a highly complex and challenging role that will require you to deeply understand user needs and collaborate across internal and partner teams to build a seamless experience for new users.

Responsibilities:

• Own the onboarding user journey for new Banking as a Service users
• Help shape the direction, influence product strategy, and establish practices to address user needs
• Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams (engineering, design, legal, risk, compliance, etc.) early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful onboarding and integration experiences
• Own the roadmap for the BaaS user journey in order to increase conversion and drive adoption
• Act as the voice of the user in product and API designs, gathering direct feedback from customers
• Ensure we’re building in a scalable way

Who you are

• Brings 5+ years of experience in a product role
• Has an obsession over product quality and an eye for design, specifically an intuition for good user flows and user experiences
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
• Brings experience partnering with external stakeholders
• Can put themselves in the shoes of their users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
• Enjoys being a generalist working on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
