About the team

Stripe Issuing enables platforms to launch & deliver successful card programs and financial features into their product in a short period of time using powerful programmatic APIs. The team delivers the infrastructure, user facing features, APIs, banking & network integrations needed to create and manage cards, enable money movement, and drive spend.  This is a great opportunity to help build one of Stripe’s fastest growing businesses.  Our top users span fintechs to large enterprises & cover a range of verticals including Buy Now Pay Later, vertical SaaS platforms, on-demand marketplaces, expense management platforms, fleet, travel & more.

What you’ll do

As the Product Manager for Integration Experience within our Banking as a Service team, you will own our suite of low/no-code products that make it massively easier and faster for our users to integrate with Stripe. This is a critical part of Stripe’s journey to deliver sophisticated financial services products to our users, with a much lower footprint of technical and operational complexity required. This is a highly complex and challenging role that will require you to deeply understand user needs and collaborate across internal and partner teams to build a seamless experience for new users.

We need a strong product manager with expertise in end-user and developer experience to realize this aspiration. This product manager will spend significant time with senior customer stakeholders to discuss roadmap strategy, external developers understanding their current pain points and needs, end users to be build delightful experiences, and Stripe’s sales leadership to help win new business on Stripe. 

Responsibilities

• Own the user journeys for low/no-code experiences
• Help shape the direction, influence product strategy, and establish practices to address user needs
• Collaboratively partner with other Stripe teams (engineering, design, legal, risk, compliance, etc.) early in the product development lifecycle and jointly shape product plans that lead with delightful onboarding and integration experiences
• Own the strategy and roadmap for low/no-code product solutions
• Act as the voice of the user in product and API designs, gathering direct feedback from customers
• Ensure we’re building in a scalable way

Who you are

We're looking for someone who:

• Brings 5+ years of experience in a product role
• Strong UX design and front-end development experience
• Has an obsession over product quality
• Has domain knowledge in financial products, particularly card issuing and funds storage
• Has experience building platform and/or API products
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
• Can put themselves in the shoes of their users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
• Enjoys being a generalist working on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
