As a Product Manager on the Dropbox Backup team, you will play a crucial role in improving how our users backup and restore their content. You will be working with an amazing team of product managers, engineers, and designers from across teams and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Build the strategy and roadmap for the Backup foundation area.
  • Work with engineering teams, product managers and designers to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios.
  • Be an expert at prioritization — balance the roadmap with new capabilities, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.
  • Define clear outcomes that measure customer and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision-making processes.
  • Obsess over outcomes and know where best to invest the team’s valuable time. Share insights and results throughout the company to evangelize the high-impact foundational work of the area across Dropbox.
  • Align and partner with product teams and cross-functional leadership across Dropbox to drive outcomes that support Dropbox’s company-wide strategy.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, Applied Math or Statistics, or relevant experience
  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • A deep understanding and empathy for end-users — you love building products that make our customers feel joy, delight and trust
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and system-designs, comfortable participating in technical discussions and help make technical trade-offs
  • Impact driven and a consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business
  • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional partners in a highly collaborative environment
