About the role
The Authentication team is at the core of handling secure payments for our merchants: it enables our clients to securely accept transactions anywhere in the world, whilst helping them to stay compliant with local regulations: terms like SCA, 3DS2, and exemptions will be your everyday vocabulary. Being one of the fastest moving companies in payments, staying ahead of the curve is critical.
As a Product Manager, you will be the support the team needs to operate at its maximum potential. You will help shape the team’s roadmap while interacting with our financial partners and customers.
About you
- 2+ years experience in the cards payments space, preferably in acquiring, and aspiration to become a field expert
- Strong technical background, ideally a Computer Science degree, similar qualifications or experience
- Experience with a range of product delivery methodologies such as Agile or Kanban
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Microsoft Project, Kibana, and GitHub is a plus
- Experience with writing and maintaining business and functional product requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and consistently meet tight deadlines
- Superb communication skills and ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders whilst maintaining the right level of expectations
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of products across their entire lifecycle
- Provide ongoing support to your Product and Engineering team
- Maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Director
- Collect, understand, and convey business requirements for given features
- Find and document in details product solutions to complex intersystem dependencies
- Produce business and functional product requirements as well as input into technical requirements
- Develop, optimise, and document business processes as required, especially for launch of new products
- Conduct day to day management of formal change requests in relation to changes in the product roadmap and business priorities
- Highlight, report, and manage delivery risks and issues
