Product Manager

We are venture backed insurtech looking for entrepreneurial and highly motivated people to help strengthen our foundation and set the stage for fast and efficient scaling.

We are looking for an experienced product manager to help define, build and grow the product management function within the company.

You should be authorized to work in the US/Canada (we cannot sponsor at this time), have a Bachelors Degree and be comfortable working within the North American time zones. Principals only, no agencies or recruiters, please.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and own product roadmaps from inception through QA and deployment

• Drive strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration/execution across the Engineering and Risk Placement teams

• Interact with customers and capacity providers to ensure best-in-class product execution and delivery

• Solve problems

Your experience:

• 4+ years professional work experience in product management

• Ability to solve difficult problems across a wide array of subject matters in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in SQL and data analytics a plus

• Is obsessed with product quality and user experience

• Can embrace ambiguity and is excited about building things from zero 

• Can wear multiple hats (sometimes at the same time) and dive into a wide array of subject matters

• Is an effective listener and can translate information/feedback into actionable plans

• Is highly detail and process-oriented and can prioritize effectively

• Has a technical background to help with QA/black box feature testing
