Mission

As Livestorm is growing rapidly, our Team is aiming to further connect our platform to the rest of our clients’ ecosystem and make it an everyday tool. Therefore, we are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to own Livestorm’s developer platform products (API, webhooks, plugins SDK, developer portal) but also take an active part in technology partners’ relationships management, the app marketplace listing process, and the overall app ecosystem strategy.

As Livestorm's Product manager, you'll be joining the cross functional Ecosystem Tribe and work alongside our native integrations Product Manager Mathieu. You’ll also collaborate closely with the rest of the Product Team composed of 5 additional Product Managers and 4 Product Designers. You will be reporting to Julien, our Head of Product Management.

While Livestorm has headquarters in Paris, we are a remote-first company. As many of Livestorm's employees are based everywhere across Europe, we're looking for the best talent for the job, regardless of where you live.

In this role, you'll be expected to:

  • Leverage data insight and learnings that came from frequent exchanges with customers, prospects, and tech partners to establish clear objectives and roadmaps with your team.
  • Define and get alignment on the high-level strategy behind Livestorm’s developer platform and app ecosystem products.
  • Coordinate various stakeholders on cross-functional projects involving multiple products and business touch-points.
  • Work alongside Engineers and Designers on providing efficient, elegant, and scalable solutions that solve clearly identified, prioritized customer and partner problems.
  • Work with our Solutions Engineer to provide stellar technical support and documentation to developers, so that they can be autonomous in building apps with Livestorm.
  • Work closely with Livestorm business stakeholders to orchestrate an efficient and fluid partner experience process — from initial partner triaging to technical review, up to the public listing on our app marketplace.

Preferred experience

For this Product Manager role, we're looking for someone with the following experience:

  • You’ve been working as a Product Manager at product-centric companies for 3+ years.
  • Ideally, you’ve got an Engineering, CS, STEM degree, or attended a code bootcamp.
  • You’re confident about deep-diving into intricate technical topics and are aware of tradeoffs between scalability, security, and performance. APIs and webhooks are your secret weapons to come up with creative solutions to solve challenging topics.
  • You like being (virtually) on the field, hands-on with customers, prospects, and partners.
  • You are used to summarizing key learnings from user research and data analysis, and blending them with global trends on app ecosystems to drive your product strategy and product initiatives forward.
  • You’ve led cross-functional projects implicating multiple stakeholders spread across engineering, design, partnerships, marketing, and customer-facing teams. You know how to align and involve them in your plans.
  • You are fluent in English to articulate high-level strategic decisions and generate excitement by simplifying complex technical topics to stakeholders that don’t have the same level of technical proficiency as you and your team. The product tribe & squads responsible for the App Ecosystem work 100% in English!

Bonus

  • You have experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup/scale-up or large tech organization.
  • You know your way with code, eventually have used various web, scripting, or querying languages in the past (Javascript/NodeJS, Ruby, SQL, Python, PHP, etc.).
  • You’ve already worked on app ecosystems or integration marketplace products. You understand the dynamics that encourage partners and developers to build apps.
  • You’ve built and maintained an API, an open-source project, or are involved with a tech community.
  • You speak a bit of French!

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. So however you identify with yourself and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
