Fancy shaping the future of a market-leading product?

Joining a small team, you’ll get ownership over our growing API & Integrations product line and get stuck into a huge range of exciting and interesting challenges. You’ll also help drive real, visible commercial benefits for the company and our clients, as well as supporting growing start-ups across the UK.

We are a rapidly growing company, which means you’d also have fantastic opportunities to progress - whether that’s advising on strategy or line management (or a mix!). Come join our smart & friendly team (check out our Glassdoor to read about it in their words) and have a material impact on our product’s future.

If this sounds exciting, read on!

The role

We’re a market leading tech company that tracks the fastest growing companies in the UK (think Monzo and Deliveroo!). Our Product team is responsible for building and improving our data platform that is used by anyone with an interest in the start-up space (over 20 different industries).

Our clients love our data and platform access today but we know we could do so much more to seamlessly integrate our service into their workflows and help them get the most out of Beauhurst however they want to work.  This could include continuing to develop our own API or build integrations with CRMs, Slack, Sale Enablement Platforms, Data Marketplaces or something else entirely; that’s your job to figure out. We are open to exploring a wide opportunity space to find the best solutions for our existing and potential clients.

As this is a new role, you will get to shape how the function evolves over time and with a growing product team there will always be new opportunities in the future either doubling down in this area or working on other product lines.

More specifically, you’ll get involved with:

  • Full product lifecycle: from conception to research to deployment. You’ll get involved with everything from talking to subscribers and internal teams, analysing trends, experimenting with commercial models, product ideas & working with our development team to specify, prioritise, build, test, and release new features. You will also help build out documentation and supporting information to make onboarding as smooth as possible. This role requires considering the different needs of a variety of client roles including the buyers, implementation developers and the ultimate end users.
  • Commercial and implementation support: You will work with commercial and marketing teams to best position the product in the market and help build out supporting documentation and guides to get clients on board as smoothly as possible. Also, whilst the product is young you will be directly supporting sales conversations and onboarding of new customers.
  • Trend-spotting: Keeping up with trends in our subscriber’s industries & new technologies/methods to dictate fresh and innovative ways to develop the product
  • Strategy: Working closely with the senior management team to develop long term product strategy for your product line, input on company direction and help shape our overall mission!

Our offer

We’re offering a competitive salarydepending on your previous experience.

We invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy! So as well as that, you'll also get;

  • Training: Structured training & regular personal development opportunities
  • Wellbeing: Coaching, counselling, and virtual yoga/mindfulness sessions
  • Socials: Drinks every Friday, office parties, company away days, and regular team events
  • Options: Substantial options scheme, so you can share in the growth you help create
  • Talks: Interesting speakers in the office
  • Snacks: Unlimited supply of fruit, nuts, tea, and coffee
  • Books: You can order any relevant books you like or come along to our book club evening
  • Travel loans: Rail season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme

About you

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ with the profile that we’re looking for, but you should have at least two years experience within product management, from conception to delivery. Given the nature of the role, being comfortable with products that are either data heavy, non-visual or integration focused is a big plus too.

Personality-wise, you should also be:

  • Naturally inquisitive: Our company is ever-changing so you should love learning new things and be excited to learn about our industries, market trends, and new tech!
  • Ambitious: Coming into a small team, you should also be excited by the chance to progress rapidly and take on a lot of responsibility from day one!
  • Emotionally intelligent: You’re able to build rapport with just about anyone, from colleagues to clients.

About us

We are the market-leader for tracking and understanding the fastest growing companies in the UK. Through a combination of people power and machine learning, our platform helps 20+ different industries invest in, understand, and partner with these exciting businesses.

Other than the product, our real key to our success is our wonderful team. Based in the heart of vibrant Brixton, we’re a close-knit group with a range of individual interests and quirks - from bakers, to artists, to beer-brewers to gamers, everyone plays a part in helping to grow our business.
