Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model, which combines the flexibility of working from home with the benefits of gathering in person. Team members can work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Portugal. Conditions permitting, teams will meet in person a few times every quarter at one of Grammarly's hubs, currently in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a shared workspace in Krakow.

Grammarly team members in this role are required to live within a daily commutable distance to San Francisco. Grammarly may provide relocation assistance.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for Android to join our Mobile Product Management team. This role involves being the product lead for the entire product suite of Grammarly on Android, setting the overall strategy and direction. The role includes not only owning the product direction for the Grammarly Keyboard on mobile that helps users communicate more effectively, but also leading new zero-to-one bets the team is making to help all Android users communicate more efficiently and effectively on mobile.

Your impact

Grammarly’s mission is to improve lives by improving communication for users around the world. As Senior PM for Android, you will be the end-to-end product leader for Grammarly on Android, focused on helping a net-new set of users communicate more efficiently and effectively. As owner of this product, you will be responsible for crafting the overall strategy, defining and prioritizing improvements in existing products, and leading the team to find product market fit for new bets. 

In this role, you will:

  • Be the product leader for Android. You’ll define the overarching product strategy for Android, partnering closely with a cross-functional team across engineering, design, user research, marketing, and data science
  • Drive strategic decisions and trade-offs for our entire Android efforts, balancing short term and long-term opportunities and a portfolio of efforts.
  • Work on an early-stage product that has huge opportunity to reach a new user base.
  • Work closely with user research and marketing partners to deeply understand user needs and the competitive landscape to deepen our understanding of our users and define high-conviction opportunities.
  • Deeply understand the Android business and develop go-to-market strategies with your cross-functional partners.
  • Driving step-wise changes in the role Android plays for Grammarly’s users and business.

  • Can deeply understand and create metrics to evaluate user experiences and inform trade-offs. 
  • Can make the right things happen in ambiguity and can go deep to understand complex trade-offs and can create clear paths forward.
  • Has a solid technical background, with a computer science degree or relevant work experience.
  • Is excited to make a positive impact on how users around the world communicate!
