Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Software is changing the world, and Atlassian is at the centre of it all. With more than 80,000 global customers (including 85 of the Fortune 100) and a highly disruptive business model, Atlassian is advancing the art of team collaboration with products like Jira Software, Confluence, and Trello. Driven by honest values, an outstanding culture, and consistent revenue growth, we're out to unleash the potential of every team. From Amsterdam and Austin to Sydney and San Francisco, we're looking for people who are powered by passion and eager to do the best work of their lives in a highly autonomous yet collaborative, no B.S. environment.

Want to be involved with defining and driving the future of software development? In Jira Software we’re on a mission to enable teams to move faster and smarter no matter where they start their agile journey. Our goal is to empower teams adopting modern software development practices and help them achieve the goals they strive for.

You'll own understanding the problems our customers face when planning the bigger picture, producing plans that are up to date even as priorities, teams, dependencies, and constraints change. Your stream will enable users to gain visibility across multiple teams in order to keep the rest of their organisation on the same page.

You will help craft Atlassian’s broader Agile at Scale strategy, working closely with other Product Managers to build a “planning ladder” to help software teams scale their Agile practices from one team to the whole enterprise.

More About You

On your first day, we'll expect you to have;

  • Sound product management experience, ideally shipping cloud services
  • Strong experience with Agile practices, preferably in scaling organisations
  • You love obsessing over your customers and working directly with design and engineering to ship delightful products
  • Ability to prioritise among features, balancing the needs of our customers with those of the business and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable helping to define and drive key product success metrics
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority. You’ll make sure we’re all aligned.
  • Ability to communicate directly and clearly, with a strong emphasis on careful listening

It is great but not required if you have;

  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology, IT or operations; Masters or MBA preferred
  • Experience with Jira Software and Agile ways of working
  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)
  • Experience with product management for software or development tools
More about our team

Product Managers at Atlassian drive the complete product offering, from early stage research and problem definition, through to implementation and iteration based on key success metrics. We’re dedicated to being Agile, which means we’re constantly learning about our users’ needs, forming hypotheses, and iterating on solutions. We validate everything and we're only happy when our users are too.
You'll be joining the Agile as it Scales team. We're a group of highly collaborative, extremely curious product managers, designers, and engineers who love building experiences that help our customers harness the benefits of Agile, even as they grow larger and become more sophisticated. Our problem space is big, broad, and largely unsolved. We have some huge ideas, and we need your help to bring them to life!

More about our benefits

Whether you work in an office or a distributed team, Atlassian is highly collaborative and yes, fun! To support you at work (and play) we offer some fantastic perks: ample time off to relax and recharge, flexible working options, five paid volunteer days a year for your favourite cause, an annual allowance to support your learning & growth, unique ShipIt days, a company paid trip after five years and lots more.
