We are looking for a super collaborative Product Manager to join our London team to help grow one of Octopus Group’s most exciting businesses and accelerate the British driving public on their energy transition. We’re building a whole new way for drivers to join the electric revolution. Not only can they learn about and shop for their EV online, but also experience a ‘lease for life’ through an industry-changing customer experience. The Product team is crucial in defining and bringing to market this vision while working hand in hand with all teams across the company to deliver it in record time.
You’ll pick up a 12 month maternity cover and will own the internal tooling used by all teams across Octopus EV. At Octopus we pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, it’s what distinguishes us - this is an opportunity to have a tangible impact on a product which will be instrumental to delivering our service at scale.
What you'll do
- Define and lead the vision and strategy for our internal operations portal
- Collaborate company-wide to map use cases and needs
- Test hypotheses through analytics and user testing
- Create outcome driven user stories with success metrics
- Refine and prioritise backlog
- Deliver frequent increments of value
- Measure and iterate to ensure continuous improvement
What you'll need
- 5+years as a Product manager or owner
- Track record of managing and delivering products used by internal teams
- Experience of complex processes and integrating systems with third parties
- To be able to start before June 2024
- Natural instinct for relationship building across teams and business disciplines
- History of successful delivery with engineering teams
- Strong storytelling skills Knack for measuring results
- Proven bias for action
- Passion for simplicity
- Interest in sustainability, green energy and zero-emissions transport
