Product Management Internship

Are you interested in exploring a career in product management and looking for an opportunity to work for a high-growth company? Do you enjoy solving complex problems and backing your decisions with data? If yes, then please read further! 

Wolt is looking for three students or recent graduates to join our Product Management team for a 3-4 month period in 2023. The exact timing and duration will be agreed together with the candidate. Great interns receive permanent job offers at the end of their internships, with the possibility to wrap up studies before starting. This is a full-time paid position in Helsinki, Finland.

What you’ll be doing

As a Product Management Intern you’ll be working together with an experienced Product Lead in one of our product teams. Product teams at Wolt are responsible for a specific product or domain, including products like Wolt App, Merchant App for our merchant partners, and Courier App for our couriers. Product Leads at Wolt make sure that the product is a success, and are responsible for understanding business needs in their domain, scoping product solutions together with designers and engineers, prioritising work together with the team, communicating to stakeholders and setting the product vision.

During the internship, you can expect to take ownership of project streams in 1-2 key development projects. Whether you are supporting the launch of new initiatives in our retail side or defining how our customers interact with the Wolt App, your work will have a real impact on our customers from day one. 

In practice, you will be:

• Collaborating with designers to understand customer problems

• Working with country teams to understand business requirements

• Analysing data (with Excel, Looker or SQL) to drive decision making and prioritization

• Communicating your findings to engineers 

• Sharing knowledge across the organisation 

You will get extensive support and mentoring from the Wolt community to help you learn and grow into your role. We offer a chance to work with, and learn from, product management professionals with backgrounds from leading product companies like Amazon, Spotify, Uber, Wise and Zalando.

• You are finalising your education in a relevant field, for example business, computer science, economics or engineering

• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people

• You have solid analytical skills and are comfortable working with data

• Previous experience in project or product management is a plus

• Previous experience from a fast-paced environment is a plus – whether it’s startups, scaleups or top-tier management consulting
