Wolt is a Helsinki-based technology company that provides an online platform for consumers, merchants and couriers. It connects people looking to order food and other goods with people interested in selling and delivering them. To enable this, Wolt develops a wide range of technologies from local logistics to retail software and financial solutions – as well as operating its own grocery stores under the Wolt Market brand. Wolt’s products include Wolt+ (subscription service for customers), Wolt for Work (meal benefits and office deliveries for companies), Wolt Drive (fast last-mile deliveries for merchants) and Wolt Self-Delivery (service for merchant partners with their own delivery staff). Wolt’s mission is to make cities better by empowering and growing local communities. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. DoorDash operates in 29 countries today, 25 of which are with the Wolt product and brand.

Wolt is looking for three students or recent graduates to join our Product Management team for a 4 month period in 2025. The internship will start at the beginning of 2025 and the exact timing will be agreed together with the candidate. Top-performing interns receive permanent job offers at the end of their internships, with the possibility to wrap up their studies before starting. 

As a Product Management Intern, you’ll be working together with an experienced Product Lead in one of our product teams. Product teams at Wolt are responsible for a specific product or domain, including products like the Wolt App, the Merchant App used by our merchant partners, and the Courier App used by our courier partners. There are also teams working with products for support, logistics, finance, personalization, and many more. Read more about how we build our products here.

Product Leads at Wolt make sure that the product is a success. They are responsible for understanding business needs in their domain and helping build the roadmap to get there. They take the lead in scoping product solutions together with designers, analysts, and engineers, prioritizing work together with the team, communicating with stakeholders, and setting the product vision.

During the internship, you can expect to take ownership of product streams in 1-2 key product development projects. Whether you're supporting the launch of new initiatives in the retail side of Wolt's business, or diving deep into the world of our FinTech products, you'll have a real impact at Wolt from day one.

In practice, you will be:

• Collaborating with designers to understand customer problems

• Working with operational teams around the world to understand business requirements

• Analyzing data (with Excel, Looker, or SQL) to drive decision-making and prioritization

• Communicating your findings to engineers 

• Sharing knowledge across the organization 

You will get extensive support and mentoring from the Wolt community to help you learn and grow into your role. This is a full-time paid position in Helsinki, Finland. The salary will be 3700€/month.

• You are finalizing your education in a relevant field, for example, business, computer science, economics, or engineering

• You have a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people

• You have solid analytical skills and are comfortable working with data

• You are able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights

• Previous experience working with digital products, project or product management is a plus

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus – whether it’s startups, scale-ups, or management consulting
