We embrace a “full-time, short-term” philosophy at Blend, and from day one, we encourage all interns to be equal parts self-driven, independent, and collaborative. As a Product Manager intern you will spend 12 weeks building something meaningful as you develop your skills through impactful work, strong mentorship, and first hand exposure to the business. Specifically, you will be responsible for building new features and functionality enabling our company to deliver mission-critical software to major mortgage lenders. How will you contribute:
- Own your project(s) and collaborate cross functionally with other team members including engineers, product managers, designers and most importantly - our customers
- Help craft the strategy for the future of Blend, while executing iterative releases to build towards the future vision, applying lean startup principles in the enterprise space
- Create detailed specs and wireframes, owning features and core parts of our product across web and mobile platforms
- Work with our engineering and design teams to bring ideas and concepts to life
- contribute to sprint planning and execution, including daily code releases
Who you are:
- Agile, adaptable and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively
- Strong technical and data-analysis skills
- Deep care for design and usability, knowing when to balance data and aesthetics to inform user experiences
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- We are open to Undergrad and Masters candidates graduating in 2023
