About the role:

We’re looking for a self-starting product designer fluent in their design craft, who has an infectiously positive attitude to create high-impact work across our digital product experiences. This person thrives in fast-paced environments, works well with design, product, and engineering partners, and is both a skilled individual contributor and is also excited about collaborating with other designers to create high-impact work.

The ideal person for this job is passionately focused on human-centered design, can lead the design process from start to finish, and has experience shipping digital products. We need someone who will be a champion of our users, advocating for their needs and ensuring that what we build not only satisfies them, but delivers them intangible value. The role requires someone who’s humble, always open to feedback, and comfortable in the face of ambiguity.

If you’re interested in building community, excited about reimagining the future of work, and want to work on industry-defining innovations at an unmatched scale, we’d love to hear from you.

Once here, you will:

  • Deliver quality design solutions that meet both business and user goals, as well as promote the use of design principles and techniques.

  • Champion both design and design process by presenting your work cross-functionally, effectively articulating design rationale to gather stakeholder buy-in.

  • Lead the end-to-end product design experience on your team.

  • Collaborate with product, research, tech and other partners to problem solve, scope, build, test, and roll out consistently amazing results.

  • Participate in partner and customer interactions, collaborating cross-functionally across a wide range of functions and stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, corporate communications, etc.

  • Turn insights from data analytics and research into tangible design concepts.

  • Identify design process gaps or inefficiencies and contribute to improvements.

  • Contribute to the development of a shared design system and component library.

  • Help cultivate a strong design culture within a much larger tech organization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of design experience

  • 1+ years of experience working on an in-house tech team

  • BA/BS degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related/equivalent practical experience.

  • Evidence of pushing great work into consumer markets.

  • Experience designing on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web, Desktop, etc.)

  • Up-to-date with current design trends across various industries that can be tied to various business lines.

  • Evidence of having launched and/or proposed design solutions to business problems that have influenced the direction and outcome of shipped products.
