Product Designer, Web

We’re looking for a Product Designer to play a vital role in shaping the user experience and visual design of Paired’s web presence. Reporting directly to our Lead Designer, you'll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from early user research and brainstorming to the creation of visually compelling interfaces and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead design within the web squad, working and collaborating closely with engineers, PMs, Marketing, QA and data analysts
• Participate in the product discovery process and find delightful and practical solutions to user problems
• Create intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling UI and interactions
• Support growth by implementing designs aimed to meet specific KPIs
• Iterate on designs by interpreting user behaviour and data and incorporating stakeholder feedback
• Use and evolve our internal design system to keep UI efficient and consistent
• Work alongside designers from other squads to share knowledge and best practices

Requirements

• Experience working on UX and UI for B2C web products
• Deep knowledge of best practices for information architecture, navigation, UX, and UI design for the web and rich web application environments
• Experience developing user flows and landing pages for user acquisition channels
• Proactive, self-starter who brings original ideas and fresh approaches to design project
• Experience working within an agile development team
• Proficient in modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch)
• Knowledge of prototyping tools (Marvel, Figma etc)
• (Bonus) SVG Animation skills using frameworks like Lottie
• (Bonus) Experience conducting user research and user testing sessions
