Product Designer (UX/UI) job at Mission

As a Product Designer (UX/UI), you will report to the VP, Digital Experience. You will understand customer needs, use design thinking to build the ideal workflow of new or updated products, and provide the Platform team prototypes and mockups for building new products.

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct user research and testing activities in collaboration with Product Management to help inform customer needs and product design
Work with internal teams to gather and understand functional requirements and design complete user experiences for the end-to-end customer journey
Identify and understand user behaviors in-depth
Research and demonstrate knowledge in industry trends and latest technologies across a variety of platforms
Understand and apply Mission branding guidelines to Mission products
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design concepts
Present designs to product, engineering, and other teams
Deliver wireframes and design prototypes
Review user feedback and usage data to qualify experience opportunities
Participate in team design sprints, plannings, standups, and retrospectives as part of Agile development
Help formalize design work into UX/UI patterns and guidelines

Requirements

2+ years experience as a full-time Product Designer (UX/UI)
Experience building a well thought out and easy to use logged-in control panel/dashboard experience for B2B or B2C users
Experience working with both design and functional restrictions to help produce attractive, user-friendly, and intuitive interfaces
Experience planning data-driven design experiments to optimize UX for company goals
A portfolio showcasing your work
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification to be achieved within the first year of employment at Mission
