At TIDAL we focus on creating great products, services, and customer experiences. Product designers will bring ideas to the table, work with precision under tight timeframes, and translate product concepts and specifications into pixel perfect designs. The role needs to have an eye for elegance and simplicity, and should be driven by a mission to create the best user experience for millions of users worldwide.
The role will be a part of the Product Design team who manage UI & UX production across all our applications. We focus on optimisation and new ideas in order for us to provide a great-looking and user-friendly product for our users. The product designers work closely together with the product managers on documentation and exploration and they are a key support unit for the development teams.
You Will:
Help shape the product vision.
Look for opportunities to solve problems in unique and creative ways
Create visual concepts with journey maps based on product specifications
Build functional prototypes to validate your designs
Participate in user research and testing
Help maintain visual and brand consistency between all products and outlets
Produce pixel-perfect design with clear design specifications for our mobile applications
Work together with the Product Managers & Development teams to determine the best implementation
Support our Development teams during development stages
Communicate product design items to relevant stakeholders across the company
3+ years of product design experience or related/equivalent experience,
A strong visual portfolio showcasing previous work
Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes
Experience with Figma, Sketch, and/or other design tools
Experience with prototyping tools
Understanding of design principles and knowledge of different platforms
Experience building design systems
Knows how to communicate ideas to a large range of stakeholders
Loves working in a team, but can also work independently when required
Can effectively communicate, collaborate, and think with other Designers
Open to, and believes in the importance of feedback
Please note, remote work is available from US, Germany, Norway, Spain, Poland, UK and Netherlands. In other cases relocation is needed to one of the mentioned countries.
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800
Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100
Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
