Product Designer, Shipping & Fulfillment

Over the last decade, Square revolutionized payments with an easy-to-use product that changed the commerce landscape for small businesses. Now, it is time for Square to bring the same creativity to the world of fulfillment and empower sellers with brick-and-mortar legacy to enter the daunting world of eCommerce and marketplaces.

The Fulfillment team helps lower the barrier to entry for our sellers to move into a complex fulfillment landscape and manage orders for shipping, to further our mission of economic empowerment. This includes tools to evaluate cost-effective shipping options; intuitive dashboards to manage high-volume orders; and flexible workflows that support diverse sellers needs. This problem area is important to our ability to meet the evolving needs of our omni-channel sellers and is dependent on user-centered product designers—that's you! You will report to a Design Director and work with a team of three other Product Designers.

You Will:

• Create end-to-end product design approaches on features that empower small and medium-sized businesses and the people behind them.
• Guide design execution, improve the seller experience, and work with team members (think product managers and engineers) to launch features.

You Have:

• Around 7 years of professional design experience
• A portfolio that shows work where you were directly responsible for the end-to-end execution
• Experience as a primary contributor to multiple high impact projects

• You form ideas and present them to your team to determine strategy and roadmaps
• You question and collaborate with your leadership peers and bring conversations to next steps
• You use your years of experience to quickly move projects forward, using domain expertise, establishing principles, and conducting research
• You guide the vision for the product and achieve it through design explorations, documentation, and presentations
• You use existing design systems and standards and work to improve these systems and standards
