Then you are well under way on becoming the new member of our Product Design Team.

You’re joining us in an exciting moment. We’re in the middle of implementing a product vision that aims on providing a refined experience that not only works right, but also feels delightful for our end users.

For this role we are looking for someone residing in Belgium with an easy commute to Bruges to come into the office at least once every 2 weeks for team meetings.

How your day can look like:

After you get your cup of coffee (or tea - we don’t discriminate!) you participate in the daily standup to check with your teammates on next priorities.

No urgent matters popping up, so you can deep dive on your current todo list and work towards delivering the designs needed for the sprint..

Exploring different UI solutions you try out many alternatives to find out the most promising flow. You start sketching and mapping out the concept and consult with the different stakeholders to determine the feasibility and the validity of the solution.

With lunch approaching, you check on slack to see that one of the Engineers sent you a question after reviewing the design.

You get yourself a new coffee and some snacks before setting up a huddle to work together on a quick solution that can be implemented in development.

Team work makes the dream work!

After your delicious lunch, and a bit of fresh air, you join a meeting with the colleagues to assess what features need to be added to increase the value of our product. You initiate and lead the brainstorming sessions before collecting fresh research data and feedback and go back to your Figma realm. As the day comes to a close, you take a moment to touch base with your colleagues, reflecting on the day's work. You log your designs up for review and proactively send a slack to your teammates to get a second opinion.

In short you will be:

Owning the end-to-end design process for new and existing features of a platform used across the globe.
Partnering with the design team, the product and engineering squads to drive the vision, strategy and research efforts for your domain.
Championing design in terms of planning, process and implementation..Contributing to the creation and optimization of a seamless experience that leads to long-term engagement.
Measuring results and ensuring product alignment across the organization.
Developing thoughtful, impactful solutions to solve complex design problems.
Balancing time spent innovating with shipping design projects fast.
Working collaboratively with your Product and Engineering teammates to identify and solve customer, product and business problems.

What will you bring to the table:

At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
A great attention for aesthetic design and customer appeal.
A solid grounding in visual design, interaction design and customer research.
A strong understanding of web and responsive technologies.
You know Figma like the back of your hand.
A strong interest in product design innovations and latest market trends.
You are an advocate for accessible design solutions and know how to communicate this to the teammates outside Product Design.
