About the Role:

We are building a mighty design team to lead the third leg of our Product Development stool and help us develop a delightful, easy, and beautiful customer experience that speaks to immigrants. To that end, we are looking for a Product Designer who can help craft the product strategy and can drive development of intuitive experiences that build trust and bring joy to our customers.

You will report to Lauren Curtis, Principal Designer, and play a critical role in shaping the future vision of the product and the team.

You Will:

• Partner with our customer research team to understand customers and uncover their latent needs,
• Collaborate with Product Management to articulate and provide evidence for problem statements,
• Build product prototypes to test product or feature ideas,
• Work with Product and Engineering to ship high quality product experiences,
• Influence and contribute to our design systems at Remitly,
• Evaluate and integrate new design paradigms and interaction technologies that are relevant to our customers,
• Advocate for the customer, the craft, and the team

You Have:

• 4+ years experience in product design, especially mobile,
• A desire to grow, adapt, expand your skills, and try new things,
• Technical acumen and understanding, including an understanding of A/B validation,
• Solid knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Framer X, etc.)
• Genuine interest in our Mission and alignment with our cultural values

• Consumer product experience

No Fintech experience required. Remote is okay anywhere in North America.

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $88,240 - $112,060. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
